Marilyn C. Schlamer, 88, of Fond du Lac, formerly of Kewaskum, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2010, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home in Fond du Lac.
She was born on September 15, 1922, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Emil and Mary (Roeser) Neidinger, and on July 28, 1945, she was united in marriage to Robert Schlamer Sr. at St. Robert’s Catholic Church in Shorewood. Robert preceded Marilyn in death on September 10, 2006.
Marilyn was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.
Those Marilyn leaves behind to cherish her memory include four children, Dr. Robert Schlamer of Oconomowoc, Mark Schlamer of Campbellsport, Kurt (Cyndi) Schlamer of Oak Creek and Lisa (David) Lepak of Rosendale; a grandson, Joshua Lepak; a brother, Jerome (Edith) Neidinger of Erie, Pennsylvania; a sister-in-law, Sally Neidinger of Illinois, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Waits and a brother, Robert Neidinger.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marilyn was held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street in Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath officiated and burial was at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends called on Friday at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.
