Marilyn A. Tepper

February 14, 1952 — September 28, 2008

Marilyn A. Tepper, (nee Hoeft), age 56, of West Bend, passed away Sunday September 28, 2008 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born on February 14, 1952 in West Bend to Robert and Dolores (nee Bales) Hoeft. Marilyn attended St. Mary's Grade School, and graduated from West Bend High School in the class of 1970. She then attended Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee and earned an associate degree in working with the Developmentally Disabled.

Marilyn spent many years working both full time and part time with developmentally disabled adults, for the State of Wisconsin and the Threshold in West Bend.

Marilyn's life was always centered on her family. Their hopes, dreams, and needs. She especially enjoyed their vacation time together.

She is survived by her husband, John; two children, Sean Tepper and Stephanie Tepper, both of West Bend; her father, Robert Hoeft of West Bend; three brothers, Jerry (Sandy) Hoeft of Heathrow, FL, Gene Hoeft of West Bend, and Steve (Debra) Hoeft of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Hoeft.

A memorial service in remembrance of Marilyn will be held on Thursday October 2nd at 7:00 pm at Emmaus Bible Church (220 N. 6th Ave.) West Bend. Rev. James Taylor will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday at the church only from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Memorials to Emmaus Church or the Myeloma Research Foundation are appreciated. Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the family.

Cremation took place at Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, and burial of Marilyn's cremated remains will be in St. Mary's Cemetery on Friday October 3rd at 11:30 am.
