Marion A. “Mae” Fellenz, 83, of Beechwood, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2009, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center in the town of Plymouth.
She was born on February 16, 1926, in the town of Scott, the daughter of the late Fred and Adelia (Staege) Hintz, and on July 10, 1948, she was united in marriage to Lynes Fellenz at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott.
Mae was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott and a former member of the Ladies Evening Guild. She was employed by Amity Leather Products in West Bend, retiring in 1988.
Mae enjoyed going on vacations and fishing trips up North with friends and relatives and traveling to various locations in the United States. She also enjoyed playing cards with a card club for over 50 years. Mae will be deeply missed by her husband, her family and by all who knew her.
Those Mae leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband of 61 years, Lynes; a son, Robert Fellenz of Beechwood; a sister-in-law, Marie Hintz of Random Lake; her nieces and nephews, Ronald Hintz, Susan (Jim) Helminger, Jane (Frank) King, James (Jane) Fellenz and David (Tammy) Fellenz; a cousin, Jerry (Eileen) Staege, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by an infant daughter; a brother, Ralph Hintz and a brother-in-law, Gordon (Betty) Fellenz.
Funeral services for Mae were held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2009, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott. Rev. Kurt Ziemann officiated and burial followed in the church cemetery.
Relatives and friends called on Sunday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
