Marion J. Yogerst, nee Ruhnke, 82, of West Bend, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center, West Bend.
She was born June 26, 1928 in West Bend to the late Alvin and Alice (nee Louret) Ruhnke. Marion was a long time member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bend where she was a member of the Ladies Guild, Senior Choir and Folk Choir. She was also a volunteer of the St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary for many years.
She is survived by four children, Gary (Mary) Weis of Campbellsport, Ron (Jo) Weis of Mequon, Bob (Margaret) Weis of New Berlin, and Kathy (James) Bean of Kyle, TX; eight grandchildren, Jason (Susan) Weis, Brian (Jennifer) Weis, Liz (Matt) Roe, Sarah (Jeff) Janz, Megan (Scott) Anderson, Manda (Kenneth) Davis, Molly (Tim) Stavenger, and Katie (Roel) Martinez; 11 great-grandchildren, Melanie, Nathan, Zoe, Gabriel, Miriam, Nolan, Ben, Ian, Meredith, Theodore, and Emmaline; a brother, Al Ruhnke of Fond du Lac; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Donald Weis, her second husband, William Yogerst, and a brother, Richard Ruhnke.
A memorial service in remembrance of Marion will be held on Friday, April 22 at 6:00 p.m. at Myrhum - Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Rev. Guy Roberts of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
