Marjorie M. Frenz (nee Festge), age 91, of West Bend, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at her residence.
She was born on September 11, 1921 in Milwaukee to the late Charles and Clementine (nee Ames) Festge, and graduated from Washington High School in the class of 1939. On August 4, 1951 Marge was united in marriage to Gilbert Frenz at Mother of Good Council Catholic Church in Milwaukee. They enjoyed spending their summers on Lake Amy Bell. Lake Amy Bell became their full time residence in 2001. After Gilbert's passing, Marge moved to West Bend to be closer to her family in 2011.
She was employed at Park State Bank for many years until she retired in 1987. Marge enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren
Marge is survived by three children, David (Sharon) Frenz of Tomah, Diane (Jim) Holmes of West Bend, and Linda (Del) Schultz of West Bend; five grandchildren, Bryan, Jeremy, Corey, Kelly, and John; a great-grandson, Quinn; a sister, Lorraine Jacobs of Milwaukee; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gilbert in 2010; along with seven brother and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial in remembrance of Marjorie will be held on Tuesday July 2, 2013 at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Church of St. Mary in West Bend (1610 Monroe St.). Rev John Radetski will officiate. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of Mass.
