Marjorie Ellen Guelig, 80, of Waupun, formerly of Theresa, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011, at Waupun Memorial Hospital in Waupun.
She was born on August 31, 1930, in New York, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mae (Wheatley) Walsh, and on July 29, 1950, she was united in marriage to Edgar “Junior” Guelig at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Theresa. Her husband preceded her in death on October 17, 1984.
Those Marjorie leaves behind to cherish her memory include two children, Jeffrey (Dawn) Guelig of Theresa and Kathleen Guelig of Waupun; a sister, Barbara Matthews-McCafferty of California, three grandchildren, Jay Haag and his children, Mira and Mena; Tim (Barb) Haag and their son, Joseph and Becky (Jason) Smith, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen “Katie” Parker of California.
In honor of her wishes, private services were held.
The Kietzer-Miller Funeral Home in Lomira was entrusted with Marjorie’s arrangements.
