Marjorie Larson

Marjorie L. Larson, nee Cole, age 84, of West Bend passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011, at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee.

She was born on July 12, 1926, in Duluth, MN to the late Clare and Claire (nee Hendricks) Cole. On March 21, 1947, she was united in marriage to Belmont "Bud" Larson in Duluth. In 1992, they moved from Grafton to Cedar Community in West Bend. Bud preceded her in death on June 20, 1995.

Marjorie was a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Grafton. She was also a member of Pilgrim U.C.C.'s choir, the Village choir of Cedar Community and the Red Hat Ladies Club. Marjorie loved music and gardening.

She is survived by her five children, Linda (John) Lounsbury of Richfield, MN, David (Sandra) Larson of Minnetonka, MN, Thomas (Claire) Larson of Littleton, CO, Julie (Lonnie) Ruscito of Gilbert, AZ and Diane "Dee" (Thomas) Dieringer of Adell; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, James (Jeanne) Cole of Wausau; special friend, Audrey O'Donnell of West Bend; other relatives and friends.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud; and two brothers, Richard and Charles Cole.

Funeral services in remembrance of Marjorie will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 1621 2nd Avenue, Grafton with Rev. Franz Rigert officiating. Visitation will be Friday, at the church from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Washington County Memorial Park.
