Martha A. Jeffrey (nee Norman), 95, of West Bend passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2023.
She was born on September 20, 1928, to the late Frank and Martha (nee Leider) Norman in Grafton WI. Martha graduated from Rufus King High School. On October 26, 1946, she was united in marriage to Delbert Jeffrey. She was a homemaker raising their 3 children. Martha worked at G-Town Cleaners for 20 years. She enjoyed crocheting, movies, and spending time up north with the family. Martha also enjoyed playing cards, going out to eat, and the girls’ weekends. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Those Martha leaves behind to cherish her memory include her three children, Pamela (Al) De La Garza, Robert “Bob” (Kathy) Jeffrey, and Sandra (Robert) Armstrong; four grandchildren, Amy Amanda De La Garza, Eric (Katie) De La Garza, Kristine “Kristie” (Brett) Kaplan, and Stephan (Jamie) Jeffrey; seven great-grandchildren, Julia, Eivin, Nolan, Parker, Jack, Luke, and Will; a brother, Frank Kirst; sister-in-law, Nancy Schmidt; brother-in-law, Robert Penkwitz; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Jeffrey; two sisters, Nancy Penkwitz and Iva Baranowski; and birth mother, Ramona “Mona” Kirst.
SERVICE: A funeral service in remembrance of Martha will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery in the main building in the Chapel of the Chimes.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Cedar Bay West and Cedar Hospice for all their help and care.
