Mary A. Case, age 87, of West Bend, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in the town of West Bend.
She was born on October 11, 1920 in Arlington, VT to the late Roy Bogart Case and Mary Katherine Hermes. Mary attended high school in Muskegon, MI. After her graduation, Mary was employed by the Paper Converting Corp. in Green Bay starting in 1940 and retired in 1995 as an executive secretary.
Mary moved to West Bend in the fall of 2000, joined and enjoyed her membership at the Kettle Moraine YMCA particularly the half century club.
Mary is survived by her three nieces, Barbara (Jim) Geurts of Lancaster, PA, Kathy (Jim) Phillips of West Bend, and Hannah (Howard) Puczko of Northfield, MN; her nephew, James C. (Mary) Hughes of Wauwatosa; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Mary Katherine; her sister, Alyce B. (James) Hughes; and her brother John Case.
A Memorial Mass in honor of Mary will be held on Wednesday, July 2, at 11:00 am, at Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N. 8th Ave. West Bend, WI 53095). Father Jerry Brittain will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, at the church, from 10:30 am until the time of Mass.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Riverway Place, the staff of Cedar Community Health and Rehabilitation Center Cove 3, and the staff of Cedar Community Hospice for the exceptional care and kindness that they gave to Mary.
