Mary R. Gross (nee Weasler), age 94, of West Bend, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Tri Manor in West Bend.
She was born on February 16, 1916 in the town of Osceola to the late Joseph and Polly (nee Warden) Weasler. On October 13, 1934, she was united in marriage to John Gross at St. Michael's Catholic Church. John preceded her in death on September 15, 1989.
Mary worked as a punch press operator at Pick Manufacturing. She enjoyed going out to eat with her sister, traveling, making ceramics, putting puzzles together and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her four children, Sylvia (Leo) Bruskiewicz of Hustisford, Rosella "Sally" Panzer of Allenton, Elaine Hobelsberger of West Bend and Florence M. Gross of West Bend; eight grandchildren, Rick (fiancAC.e, Carol Mueller) Bruskiewicz of Mayville, Debra Cassidy of West Bend, Patsy (Peter) Neumann of West Bend, Ronald (Brenda) Panzer of Allenton, Barry (Sheila) Hobelsberger of Mayville, Daniel Hobelsberger of West Bend, and Sandra (Steve Mueller) Wiskirchen of the town of Wayne; seven great-grandchildren, Brittany Cassidy, Jennifer Nelson, Ben Hobelsberger, Troy Hobelsberger, Ross Hobelsberger and Stephanie Jacklin; a sister, Lillian Kritz of West Bend; two brothers, Dean (Marge) Weasler and Edwin (Janice) Weasler both of West Bend; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ronald Panzer, two grandsons, Billy Hobelsberger and John H. Gross, five brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services in remembrance of Mary will be held on Wednesday, August 4th at 2:30 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend with Rev. Claudia Deede officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 12:30 pm until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park.
