Mary T. Mieritz, (nee Uvari), age 94, of West Bend, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at Tri-Manor in West Bend.
She was born on September 18, 1911 in Oshkosh to the late Ignatz and Julia (nee Reinshisler) Uvari, and was united in marriage to Milton Mieritz on September 22, 1931 in Milwaukee. Together they resided in Milwaukee until moving to West Bend in 1980. He preceded her in death on December 8, 1989.
Mary is survived by two children, Donald (Carol) Mieritz of West Bend, and Marilyn (Dave) Fairbrother of Watertown; five grandchildren, Kelly Mieritz, Mary (Mark) Hansen, John Eckert, Dennis (Ericka) Fairbrother, and John Fairbrother; three great-grandchildren, Erika (Nathaniel) Fish, Mark Hansen Jr., and Dustin Eckert; along with two great-great-grandchildren, Bailey and Isaiah Fish.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Frank Uvari.
Funeral services to remember Mary's life will be held on Friday, April 28th at 2:00 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, West Bend. Rev. Robert Loggans will officiate and burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
