Mary C. “Queenie” Schroeder, 67, of Trenton, entered into Eternal Life on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Froedert Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 6, 1950 in West Bend, the daughter of the late Ralph and Catherine (nee Hahn) Strassburg. Mary worked a variety of jobs including, Amity Company, Graphix Communications, and East Side Mobile.
She was a huge sports fan and enjoyed playing softball, golf, and bowling, and watching the Brewers, Badgers, Packers, and Nascar. Mary also liked cooking and taking care of her dogs.
Those Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory include her brothers, James (Romayne), Robert (Sharon), Charles (Deborah), and Joseph (Tara); sisters, Susan (Lee) McGinnis and Barbara (Steven) Kujawski; step-sons, Jeffrey, Steven, Jason, and Sheldon; and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elroy; her brother, William; and her beloved dog, Bubba.
A funeral service in remembrance of Mary will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St. West Bend, WI. 53095. Mary’s family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. until the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Mary’s name to the Washington County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
Mary’s family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, family, friends, and neighbors who supported her throughout her illness.
