Mary Ellen Zunker, age 80 of Mayville, found eternal rest on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at The Kathy Hospice in the Town of Polk.
She was born on October 4, 1932 in Hartford to the late Norman and Elizabeth (nee Leach) Zunker. Mary Ellen grew up on the family homestead in Hartford and spent her adult life in various group homes in Washington County. For the past six years, Mary Ellen enjoyed living at Mossflower Harbour II in Mayville. She loved collecting baby dolls and will be fondly remembered for her love of polka music and lemon meringue pie.
A memorial service in remembrance of Mary Ellen will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 4:00 pm at Mossflower Harbour II, 175 Riverview Heights, Mayville with a reception to follow.
