Maxwell Riley Paterson, born September 18, 2022, of Mequon passed from this life on September 28, 2022 in his loving parents’ arms.
Maxwell was a fighter. In fact, he was given the nickname “Mighty Max” by the staff of Children’s Hospital due to his sheer determination and spunk. He was very loved by his family during his time on this earth, and he will be dearly missed by those who he leaves behind. Maxwell loved to snuggle with his parents and his brothers. They will miss the sounds of his soft coos and the warmth of his tiny body. Maxwell loved the sound of his parents’ voices as they sang sweet, soft lullabies to him, which would calm him instantly.
Those Maxwell leaves behind to cherish his memory include his mother and father, Nicole (Seibel) and Gregory Paterson; his two brothers, Mason (4) and Milo (2) Paterson; his maternal grandparents, Gary and Amy Seibel; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Carrie Paterson, and Valerie and Dennis Yenor; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
VISITATION: Maxwell’s family will greet relatives and friends at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend on Friday, October 7, 2022, from 10am until 11am.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service for Maxwell will follow the visitation with Dan Schroeder officiating.
The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff of Children’s Hospital who supported them through this difficult time.
