Maybell Nimmer

MayBell Nimmer, (nee Ziegler), age 90, of West Bend, passed away Monday, September 11, 2006 at Cedar Bay East, West Bend.

She was born on January 29, 1916 in Wilber, Nebraska to the late Phillip and Emma (nee Baumgardt) Ziegler, and was united in marriage to Arnold A. Nimmer on May 18, 1948 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, West Bend. He preceded her in death in 1989.

MayBell was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church and a long time treasurer of St. John's Church Guild. She had worked for many years at the First National Bank in West Bend. MayBell enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, as well as playing bridge.

MayBell is survived by two sons, Ronald Nimmer and Kenneth Nimmer; two daughters-in-law, Cynthia (Thompson) Nimmer, and Lynne A. (Sundberg) Nimmer; three grandsons, Jeffrey, Michael, and Evan; a step-brother, Kenneth Bergmeier and his wife, Darlene; a niece, Bonnie and her husband, John Bergmeier-Philip and family; a nephew, Roger Schluessel and his family; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Emille, her sister, Thelma Schluessel, a brother-in-law, Clyde Schluessel, a sister-in-law, Dorothy Bergmeier, and a nephew, Scott Bergmeier.

Funeral services for MayBell will be held on Friday, September 15th at 11:00 am at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, West Bend. Rev. George Mumm will officiate and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday at the church only from 9:00 am until the time of service.
