Michael J. Fry, age 62, of Eden, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at the Aurora Medical Center in Hartford.
Mike was born on December 7, 1950, in Tomahawk, to the late Harold and Isabelle (nee Gavin) Fry, Sr. In 1960, he moved to West Bend with his family. On April 11, 1970, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Boylen at Pilgrim Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bend.
Mike formerly worked as a welder for Charter Steel in Saukville. He enjoyed deer hunting and working on cars.
Mike is survived by six children, Howard Fry of Eden, Steven (Rachel) Fry of Eden, Suzanna Skorbier of Eden, Jamie Rose of Campbellsport, Lloyd Fry of Eden, and Michael A. (Cindy Bird) Fry of West Bend; 12 grandchildren, Stephanie, Emilee, Derik, Paige, Austin, Devon, Anna, Caleb, Kailey, Tyler, Kali, and Ashley; four sisters, Carol (Lloyd) Duranceau, Gloria (Rich) Netzband, Sandy (Butch) Malzon, and Tammy (Francis) Svec; six brothers, Harold (June) Fry Jr., Milton Fry Sr., Charles Fry, Howard (Ann) Fry, Richard Fry, and Francis Fry, Sr.; two sisters-in-law, Mary Gadouas and Marcia (Jack) Gadouas; seven brothers-in-law, Dale Ponath, Fred Rogers, Steven (Cheryl) Boylen, James (Cindy) Boylen, Danny (Lisa) Boylen, David (Denise) Boylen, and Randall Boylen; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Tessa Rogers; brother and his wife, Herbert and Gloria Fry; two sisters-in-law, Susie Boylen and Donna Ponath; and one brother-in-law, Michael Boylen.
Funeral services in remembrance of Mike will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 4:00 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend. Rev. Joseph Fisher from Pilgrim Ev. Lutheran Church will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
