Michael James Herron Sr., age 54, of the town of Eden, entered eternal peace on Tuesday May 10, 2005, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, in the presence of his family.
He was born on January 18, 1951, in Milwaukee, to Robert and Stella (nee Szocik) Herron.
He was employed as a machinist at USBF/Bradley-Woods in Milwaukee. Michael married his soul mate and his best friend Donna Herron (nee Schultz) on February 1, 1969, in Milwaukee. Through Michael's humor, smiles, kind heart, and helping hand, he touched many lives in many ways.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna of Eden; his dear children, Michael Herron Jr. of Mountain, Michelle (Matt) Chapman of Kewaskum, Danielle (Craig) Vollendorf of Rubicon, and Jana Herron of West Bend; seven grandchildren, Amanda Herron, Steven, Brandon, and Ashley Chapman, Skylar and Rhayne Vollendorf, and Alexandrea Herron; his loving mother Stella Herron; two sisters, Cindy Herron, and Robin (Dan) Walvoort; two brothers, Tom (Chris) Herron, and Tim (Claire) Herron. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Herron.
A celebration of Mike's life will be held Tuesday May 17, 2005 at the Amerahn (Hwy 45, Kewaskum) from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
In leu of flowers, memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated.
