Michael D. McBride, age 43, of West Bend, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 at his residence.
He was born on March 12, 1966 in West Bend to Roy and Janet (nee Klumb) McBride.
Michael attended West Bend High School and graduated in the class of 1984. He went on to earn an Associates Degree through Moraine Park Technical College's Automotive Technician program. He worked for many years as an auto mechanic on both foreign and domestic vehicles. Michael enjoyed autocross, golf and music.
He is survived by his son, Zachary McBride; his father, Roy McBride of West Bend; his three sisters, Jill (David) Justin of Brookfield, Lisa McBride of Kewaskum and Kay McBride of Milwaukee; his grandmother, Alverna McBride of West Bend; two uncles, Ken McBride of Jackson and Chuck (Sue) McBride of Lindenhurst, IL; other relatives and dear friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Janet; and his aunt, Sara Klumb.
Funeral Services in remembrance of Michael will be held on Saturday, February 6th at 4:00 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend with Rev. Eric Kirkegaard of Peace United Church of Christ, Kewaskum officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of the services. Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 9th in Washington County Memorial Park at 10:30 am.
