Michael J. “Mike” Mirsberger, 57, of Appleton, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at his home.
Mike was born on November 23, 1965, in Milwaukee, the son of William and Mary (nee Perla) Mirsberger. Mike graduated from Cudahy High School and was a self-taught mechanic. He was a jack of all trades – there was nothing that he couldn’t do. One of his greatest traits was to mentor people that wanted to become mechanics. He mentored high school students and won the AYES Mentor of the Year numerous times. He passed his skills down to his children which makes up a part of who they are and who they became today. Mike spent his time teaching, building, working, and riding his beloved 2004 Victory King Pin, which he achieved putting 200,000 miles on.
Those Mike leaves behind to cherish his memory include five children, Joe (Karyn) Flick, Jamie Bellow, James Mirsberger, Steven (Lindsay) Mirsberger, and Eddie Mirsberger; 14 grandchildren; three brothers, Allen Mirsberger, Robert Mirsberger, and Brian (Joanna) Mirsberger; his mother, Mary Mirsberger; other relatives and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, William Mirsberger.
Mike’s family will have a celebration of life at a later date that will be announced.
The Myrhum – Patten Funeral & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Mike’s arrangements. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.myrhum-patten.com.
