Miguel Antonio Marquez, 37, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
Miguel was born on January 22, 1984, in Miami, Florida, the son of Mariano Marquez and Janet Spaeth (nee Jacklin).
Miguel was a graduate of Slinger High School in 2002, where he made his lifetime friends, Jason, Justin, Paul, and Ricky. His favorite pastime was spending time with his children and watching sports on TV. He will be remembered by many as a man who loved his children and enjoyed being an uncle to Analiah and Jose. His sassy smile and sense of humor will be missed by many.
Those Miguel leaves behind to cherish his memory include Rachel Marquez; Teilor Larson; two children, Aubriella and Kingston; two brothers, Jose Marquez and Jacob Carlson; sister, Mariana Marquez; and four step-sisters, Heather Spaeth Briana Spaeth, Milly Ruiz, and Delma Ruiz. He is further survived by his step-mother, Carmen Ortiz Marquez, and step-father, Steven Spaeth; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many other loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his baby, Grace Isabel Marquez; maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Holly Jacklin; his paternal grandparents, Antonio Marquez and Rosa Navarro; and other aunts and uncles.
A memorial service in remembrance of Miguel will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. at Community Church, 2005 S. Main St., West Bend.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday at the church from 1:30 p.m. until 3:15 p.m.
