Mildred A. Buck, (Nee Schinke), age 89, of West Bend, formerly of Appleton, passed away Thursday August 12, 2004 at Autumn Oaks in Slinger.
She was born on January 20, 1915 in Appleton to the late Herman and Clara (Nee Newmann) Schinke. On August 12, 1939 Mildred was united in marriage to Harold Buck at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Appleton. Together they made their home in Appleton and Mildred worked at the former Zwicker Knitting Mill. Harold preceded her in death in 1994 and in 2001 she moved to West Bend to be closer to her family.
Mildred was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Appleton.
She is survived by her son, Ronald (Debbie) Buck of West Bend. Four grandchildren; Brian Buck of West Bend, Bradley Buck of Port Washington, Hallie (FiancAC. Chris Olsen) Buck of West Bend, and Travis Buck of West Bend. Two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Sawyer Buck of West Bend; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and a granddaughter Bobbie Buck.
Funeral services will be held on Monday August 16th. at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Rev. Robert Raasch of Mount Olive Lutheran Church will officiate and Entombment will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday at the chapel from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
