Mildred E. Donath, (nee Reul), age 94, of the Town of Farmington, went to be with her Lord on Monday December 21, 2015 at The Kathy Hospice.
Millie was born in the Town of Farmington on April 22, 1921 to the late Edward and Amanda (nee Klahn) Reul, and was united in marriage to Orin Donath on May 15, 1947 at St. Martins United Church of Christ in Fillmore.
Together they resided in the Town of Farmington for many years until moving to West Bend. They were members of St. Martin’s U.C.C. and later became members of Immanuel U.C.C. in West Bend. Orin preceded her in death in 1984.
Millie was employed at the West Bend Clothes Clinic until retiring in 1989. She enjoyed her many sheepshead card clubs, along with fishing.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son, Jerold “Jerry” (Lauri) Donath of Kewaskum; three grandchildren, Amy (Jason) Titus, Becky (Dean) Fleischmann, and Jon (Jennifer) Donath; four great-grandchildren, Katie and Matt Titus, Sarah Fleischmann, and Owen Donath; two sisters, Doris Krahn, and Jean (Al) Ripley; a brother, Edward (Eileen) Reul; two sisters-in-law, Betty Reul, and Mildred Lang; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Amanda; husband, Orin; three sisters, Bernice Kastner, Inez (Vernon) Staege, and LaVerne (Roy) Remick; two brothers, Howard Reul, and Marvin Reul; three brothers-in-law, Adrian Krahn, Frank Gasner, and John Lang; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Gasner.
Funeral services in remembrance of Millie will be held on Monday December 28th at 6:00 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington St.) West Bend. Rev. Matthew Short of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Slinger, will officiate.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the time of service.
Cremation will follow and her cremated remains will be placed to rest in Washington County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Luke Lutheran Charitable Endowment Fund are appreciated.
The family wishes to thank all the caregivers and staff at Jackson Crossing and The Kathy Hospice, along with the doctors and staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital for the love and wonderful care extended to Millie.
