Mildred E. "Millie" Goral, (nee Schmidt) age 96, of West Bend, went into God's care on Monday, September 24, 2007 at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center.
She was born on November 16, 1910 in Milwaukee to the late Rudolph and Pearl (nee Gouin) Schmidt and was united in marriage to Joseph Goral on July 29, 1933 in Waukegan, IL. Together they resided in Milwaukee and Millie worked at the U.S. Rubber Company. After retiring they moved to Florida, and in 1988 they moved to Cedar Ridge in West Bend. Her husband and Best Friend Joseph preceded her in death in May of 1994.
Millie is survived by two nephews, Gary (Sherry) De Lange, and Joel (Shirley) De Lange, along with their families; Special "Aunt" and cousins, Karl and Kathy Kramoris, Hugh and Katie McManus, Terry and Judie Dineen, along with their families; other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Millie will be held on Friday September 28th at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Parish (1610 Monroe St.). Rev. Michael Moran will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. Visitation will be Friday at the church only from 10:30 am until the time of Mass.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to all the caregivers at Cedar Community extended to Millie the last couple of years. Especially Dorothy and Sue, along with the Hospice Staff of Cedar Community.
