Milton "Milt" Johnson

November 9, 1932 — January 8, 2021

Milton R. Johnson, 88 of Franklin, found peace on Friday, January 8, 2021.

He was born on November 9, 1932 to the late Caston and Alma (nee Anderson) Johnson in Mason, WI. He graduated from Ondossagon High School. On July 16, 1959 he was united in marriage to Emma Caproon. Milton honorably served in the United States Marines during the Korean War. He worked at Ladish for over 40 years until retirement, Milton was very handy and loved tinkering with projects. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and a beer or two. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and all of his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Those Milton leaves behind to cherish his memory include his seven children, Jeff (Coreen) Johnson, Shelley Schneider, Sharon (Ron) Haberski, Lori (Dale) Dorgay, Todd Johnson, Brent Johnson, and Randy (Nicole) Johnson; 16 grandchildren, Stacy, Cade, Crystal (Jared), Stacy, Shawna, Ryan, Nicole (Bobby), Alea (Jim), Heather (Ryan), Jeremy, Kyle, Sean (Jazmyne), Natashia (Cade), Cheyenne, Eric, and Sarah; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Ruuska; two brothers, Harvey Johnson and Roger (JoAnne) Johnson; a sister-in-law, Janet Johnson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Emma Johnson; sister, Shirley (Ralph) Workman; brother, Dale Johnson; son-in-law, Paul Schneider; sister-in-law, Pat Johnson; and brother-in-law, Whitey Ruuska.

A Celebration of Life for Milton will be held later.
