Milton O. Schuster, 87, of the town of Farmington, passed away Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Samaritan Health Center, West Bend.
He was born on April 9, 1921 in West Bend to the late Henry and Wilhelmine "Minnie" (nee Guelzow) Schuster. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Pietschmann on November 6, 1943 at St. Martin's Church in Fillmore. Dorothy passed away on February 23, 1996.
Milton farmed in the town of Farmington until 1970. He was also employed as an electrician at the West Bend Company for more than 25 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the West Bend Company 25-Year Club and served as a Deacon at St. Martin's United Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball, and most of all, spending time with his family.
He is survived by three children, Sheri (Tim) Barth of Brookfield, Jim (Bonnie) Schuster of Beechwood, and Patti (Paul) Mittag of Random Lake; six grandchildren, Cindy (Tim) Schneider of Beechwood, Jenny (Jay) Boegel of Beechwood, Jason Mittag, Joshua Mittag, Jeremy Mittag and Jacob Mittag, all of Madison; two step-grandchildren, Wade Barth of Wauwatosa, and Lindsay (Pete) Evans of Chicago; three great-grandchildren, Brad Boegel, Brett Boegel, and Abigail Schneider; a step-great-granddaughter, Emily Evans; three sisters-in-law, June Mueller of Fillmore, Marilyn (Jim) Brink of Missouri, and Florence Pietschmann of West Bend; two brothers-in-law, Ray Eichmann of Clintonville, and Henry Karth of West Bend; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Schuster; a brother, Raymond Schuster; three sisters-in-law, Helen Karth, Ethel (Carlos) Crass, and Alice Eichmann; and two brothers-in-law, Albert Pietschmann, Jr., and Donald Mueller.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Rev. Vern Clausing will officiate and burial will be in Fillmore Union Cemetery on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.
