Minnie M. Justman, (nee Oelhafen), age 96, of West Bend, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2007 at Kathy Hospice after a short illness.
She was born on August 24, 1911 in the Town of Addison to the late Louis and Ella (nee Krahn) Oelhafen. Minnie was baptized on September 10, 1911 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Slinger, and took her confirmation vows on April 5, 1925 at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.
On June 7, 1930 she was united in marriage to Russell C. Justman at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bend. They made their home in the St. Lawrence area until moving to West Bend in 1940.
During WW II Minnie did her part by working at Pick Manufacturing and International Harvester. After the war she dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family.
She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Minnie enjoyed Cards and especially antiquing.
Minnie is survived by three children, Harold (Cathy) Justman, Howard (Millie) Justman, and Florence (Harry) Kissinger, all of West Bend; eight grandchildren, Steven (Laurie) Justman, Jodi (John) Krueger, Scott (Amy) Kissinger, Debbie (Ron) Hammer, Susan (Dan) Weber, Lisa (Chris) Heying, Brian (Pam) Justman, Michelle McAllister; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; a sister-in-law, Recella Budahn; a brother-in-law, Roland (Bea) Justman; Minnie is further survived by caring nieces, nephews, cousins, special neighbors and friends, who were an important part in her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell in 1985; a son Leroy, three sisters, Elizabeth and husband Ray Groth, Ella and husband Ruben Kind, Walburga and husband Milton Kurth; two brothers, Louis; August and wife Nelda.
Funeral services to remember Minnie will be held on Tuesday December 18th at 7:00 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home. Rev. George Mumm will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will take place on Wednesday at 10:00 am in Washington County Memorial Park. Memorials may be given to St. John's Church, Kathy Hospice, or the charity of your choice.
