Myra A. Ermer, nee Hoepner, 87, of West Bend, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center in Fond du Lac.
She was born on June 15, 1917 in the town of Theresa to the late John and Alma (nee Wagner) Hoepner. She was united in marriage to Lester Ermer on October 17, 1936 in the town of Theresa.
After their marriage, Myra farmed with her husband in Kohlsville and Fillmore. Her husband preceded her in death on June 8, 1969. After her husband's death, she worked at the West Bend Company for 10 years until her retirement.
Myra was a long time member of Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bend.
She is survived by three sons, Harold (Special Friend, Gail) Ermer of Elderon, William (Elizabeth) Ermer of West Bend, and John (Karen) Ermer of Eden; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; twelve step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Esther Zimdahl of Eden, and Leona Beilke of West Bend; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Ermer of Kewaskum; a brother-in-law, Victor Bennett of Oconomowoc; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bernard "Ben" Ermer, six sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Myrhum - Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, West Bend. Rev. John Paustian of Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church, West Bend, will officiate and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
