Nancy Josephine Grunke, nee Novak, age 74, of West Bend, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.
She was born on March 2, 1933 in Milwaukee to the late Vincent and Rose (nee Potrykus) Novak. Nancy attended South Division High School in Milwaukee. Following high school she began working at Allen Bradley and was employed there for 37 years before her retirement in 1988. Nancy was united in marriage to Eugene R. Grunke on October 11, 1959 in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on September 29, 2001.
Nancy is survived by her loving daughter, Jodie (Jeff) Archer-Schibline of West Bend; her two cherished granddaughters, Samantha Archer of West Bend and Adrianna Schibline of West Bend; a brother, Donald Novak; a sister, Gloria Gagliono; and many other dear relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her two sisters.
A funeral service in honor of Nancy will be held on Tuesday, March 20, at 7:00 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend. Rev. David Schoob from Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend will officiate. A visitation with family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until the time of the service. Entombment will take place on Wednesday, March 21, at 10:00 am in St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee.
