Nancy Ann Mitchell

Nancy Ann Mitchell (nee Mueller), age 74 years, of Milwaukee, formerly of  Wausau, found peace on August 12, 2021 at Kathy Hospice in West Bend surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born on February 9, 1947 in Wausau to Harold and Betty Mueller.  She was united in marriage to David John Mitchell on February 10, 1968 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wausau.

Nancy graduated from Senior High School in Wausau and from the Milwaukee College of Beauty Culture.  She was employed at Myrna’s Beauty Salon followed by Doerfler Grade School where she retired.  Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She also enjoyed doing crafts and reading.

Those Nancy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband of 53 years, David; three children, Matthew (Yvonne) Mitchell, Jennifer (Milton) Mueller, and Lukas Mitchell; four grandchildren, Breanna, Alex, Logan, and Kaden.  She is further survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Brian Mueller; as well as two sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, a niece, and three nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Myrhum Patten Funeral Home (350 Main St. – Lomira, WI  53048).  Luncheon to follow.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Kathy Hospice for their care and compassion.
