Nancy M. Tischendorf, 46, of the town of Kewaskum, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2010, at her home.
She was born on July 25, 1963, in Waukesha, the daughter of Lavern and Lorraine (Pongratz) Rehlinger, and on September 29, 1984, she was united in marriage to John Tischendorf at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown.
Nancy was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum and worked for many years in the food service program at Holy Trinity Catholic School. Nancy touched the lives of many people. She will be deeply missed by her husband, her sons, her family and by all who knew her.
Those Nancy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 25 years, John; two cherished sons, Alex and Dylan at home; her father, Lavern Rehlinger of Mayville; her brothers and sisters, Joan (Jon) Meinhardt of Menomonee Falls, Mike (Tammy) Rehlinger of Germantown, Jane (Chris) Zimmerman of Brookfield and Roger (Laura) Rehlinger of Brownsville; her many friends at Holy Trinity School, other relatives and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Matthew.
Cremation took place. A Memorial Mass for Nancy was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street in Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath officiated and burial of her cremains followed Mass in the parish cemetery.
Nancy’s family received relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m.
