Niels P. Nielsen, 84, of Racine, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Ridgewood Care Center in Racine.
He was born on June 28, 1928, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of the late Niels P. and Hazel (Billington) Nielsen.
Niels served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Those Niels leaves behind to cherish his memory include his son, Pete (Joni) Nielsen of Lomira; two grandchildren, Neil and Nicole Nielsen; two brothers, Bill Krueger of Park Falls and Dale Krueger of Chippewa Falls, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Niels was preceded in death by a brother, John Krueger Jr.
In honor of his wishes, there was no visitation or funeral service. Cremation took place.
The Kietzer-Miller Funeral Home in Lomira was entrusted with Niels’ arrangements.
