Niki A. (Nik) Hafemeister, age 25, of Germantown, formerly of West Bend, found eternal rest on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at his residence.
Niki was born on May 14, 1987 in West Bend to Carol Bartz (nee Boettcher) and Scott Hafemeister. He graduated from West Bend West High School in the class of 2005. After graduation, he worked at various jobs, most recently at Serigraph in West Bend.
Niki enjoyed disk golfing, camping, fishing, and skate boarding. He also enjoyed custom car shows, listening to music, and watching the Packers. Niki loved making people laugh and will be remembered for his blue eyes and beautiful smile.
He will be missed and loved forever by his mother, Carol (Ken) Bartz of West Bend; his father, Scott Hafemeister of Germantown; one brother, Brandon (Tina Schmick) Hafemeister of West Bend; paternal step-grandfather, George Jund; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; his best friend, Kyle Hughes; other relatives and friends.
Niki was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Patty Jund and Robert Hafemeister; his paternal great-grandparents, Ralph (Ardith) Hafemeister and John Hoiness; his maternal grandparents, Willard (June) Boettcher; and his step-grandmother Lois Bartz.
A funeral service in remembrance of Niki will be held on Saturday, June 2nd, at 2:00 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery in the town of Barton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to help with funeral expenses would be appreciated.
