Obituary for Norene Susan Johnson (nee Juech).

Norene was born on March 23, 1943 in West Bend to the late Reginald and Florence (nee Fellenz) Juech. The Sister to Cordell Enright, and the late Sheldon Juech, Melroy Juech, and Darwin Juech. She married Lawrence  “Larry” Johnson on May 15, 1965 and had three children, Steven Johnson (Debbie Duchow), Chris Johnson, and Kim Reiland (Steve Curtes). She had four grandchildren, Josh Demars, Brieann Johnson, Kirah Reiland, and Trentin Reiland. Five great grandchildren, Hankston, Ava, Kenzie, Melanie, and Ivy who she all loved very much. Her in-laws, Rick Johnson, Tom (Roberta) Johnson, and Laurie (Frank) Restifo.

She attended Holy Angels Catholic Church. Norene was a devoted catholic who loved her faith in God, Jesus, and her Saints and Angels. She went to Adoration volunteering her time every Friday. One of her best adventures was going to the Vatican in Rome with her sister. She volunteered and enjoyed playing cards with classmates, friends, and socializing. She enjoyed camping up north which have so many memories and fun times. Swimming pool parties in her back yard that brought together so many family and friends for years.

She was very content being in her home that she shared with her cat Ivy. She loved planting flowers and doing yardwork. Norene has a sense of humor. She enjoyed laughing and hearing funny stories. Norene would get the biggest surprises over the smallest things. She kept life simple and will be missed by many.

Preceding in her death is her husband, Larry Johnson. Brothers, Sheldon Juech, Melroy Juech, and Darwin Juech. Her in-laws, Corrine and Bill Carruthers, Kenneth Johnson Pearl Juech, Judy Juech, Jerry Enright, Sharon Butch, Bobby Jo Johnson. Nephew Kevin Juech.

She passed away peacefully in her home that she loved. She is happy, healthy and free. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who took part in care for Mom, You are appreciated.

VISITATION: Norene’s family will greet relatives and family on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 138 N. 8th Avenue, West Bend, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. on December 20, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, with Father Howard Haase officiating the service. Private burial will take place at Holy Angels Catholic Cemetery.
