Norine M. Sexton

July 19, 1929 — February 8, 2013

Norine M. Sexton (nee Ristow), age 83, of Sussex, was walked into her heavenly home on the arm of Jesus on Friday, February 8, 2013. She was born on July 19, 1929 to the late Alexander and Norma (nee Rindt) Ristow in Milwaukee.

Mom's life centered around her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her beloved husband Richard. Mom was a gifted artist who began winning art awards at age fifteen. Her talent was her passion. She loved creating and loved teaching. She taught art even into her seventy's. Mom inspired many young artists in her passion for art.

We, her family, loved her for her sense of humor and her faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which she willingly, whole heartedly passed on to us and everyone she encountered. Several churches were graced with her art work including sumptuous banners she made by hand. Each one, a work of art, anointed by the hand of God.

We will miss mom for the rest of our lives, yet take great comfort knowing because of God's saving grace through the sacrifice of Jesus, for our sins, we will all see her again someday. She was and will remain so very precious to all of us.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" Rom. 10:9

"He that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" - Jesus John 6:37b

Norine is the beloved spouse of Richard Sexton; beloved mother of Paula (Tim) Virchow of West Bend, Ed Stadelmayer of Boston, and Denise (Joe) Burckle of Fond du Lac; beloved grandmother of Jason (Amy) Gauthier, Jacob (Jenny) Gauthier, Jessica (Roger) Wichowski, Seth Burckle, and Zoe Burckle; beloved great-grandmother "GG" of Kathleen Gauthier, Samuel Gauthier, Ella Gauthier, Grayson Gauthier, Ashley Wichowski, and Lilly Wichowski. She was further survived by many other friends and relatives.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 11th from 5:00 pm until a memorial service begins at 6:30 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend.
