Norma Lehmann (nee Neuy), age 85, of West Bend, passed away on Wednesday May 14, 2008 at the Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.
She was born on March 4, 1923 in Barton, to the late Steve and Mary (nee Johlke) Neuy, and was united in marriage to Joseph Lehmann on March 22, 1941 at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Parish, West Bend.
Norma was employed at Dostal & Lowey Company in Menomonee Falls for over 40 years until her retirement in 1985.
She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Norma enjoyed her family, bingo, casinos, and her trips up to Pelican Lake.
Norma is survived by her three daughters, Judy (Floyd "Fuzzy") Dreher of West Bend, Joanne (Lawrence "Buzzy") Nischke of Cascade, and Sandy (Tom) Zernia of West Bend; 13 grandchildren, Jeff (Brenda) Dreher, Lorie (Todd) Van Langen, Debbie Dreher (friend Brent Draheim), Tom Dreher, Lisa (Jim) Klass, Mike Nischke, Joe Nischke (fiancAC.e Darci Boettcher), David (Kathy) Nischke, Mary (Duane) Klein, Andy (Melissa) Nischke, Tracey (Mike) Nowack, Patty (Don) Petrin, and Tommy (Jamie) Zernia; 26 great-grandchildren, Tanner and Braydee Dreher, Stacy, Amber, and Jason Van Langen, Chad and Cody Enright, Colton Dreher, Stefanie and Lindsey Klass, Adam, McKenna, Gage, and Payten Nischke, Britni and Colin Klein, Tucker and Kelsey Nowack, Mason, Myles, Morgan, and Maddie Petrin, Genevieve and Maxim Zernia, Nicki Boettcher, and Kayla Olson. She is further survived by her sister, Lorraine (Leroy) Lecher; her sister-in-law, Maudie Knuth, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lehmann; her grandson, Jim "Jimmer" Dreher; her two brothers, Albert (Mabel) and Sylvestor Neuy; and her three sisters, Marie (Kermit) Scheunert, Clara (Sylvestor) Keller, and Leona (Bill) Yogerst.
Mass of Christian Burial in remembrance of Norma will be held on Friday May 16th at 4:00 pm at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Parish. Rev. Mike Moran will be the celebrant. Visitation will be Friday at the church only from 2:00 pm until the time of Mass. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery on Saturday at 9:00 am. Memorials to Kathy Hospice or the charity of your choice are appreciated.
Norma's family would like to thank Dr. Griswold, Dr. Arshad, Dr. Olafsson, the caregivers from Heartland Home Care, the staff of Kathy Hospice, all of her wonderful family, her good neighbors Allen and Kirsten Boettcher, and Jack and Arylss Crook, and her many friends for all of their wonderful acts of kindness. It meant so much to her and her family.
