Norma M. (Filler) Youngbauer

July 6, 1917 — November 2, 2013

Norma M. Youngbauer, 96, of West Bend, formerly of Boltonville, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at her home at the Fields of Washington County.

She was born on July 6, 1917, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Robert and Matilda (Tiegs) Filler, and on June 12, 1948, she was united in marriage to John Youngbauer at St. James Catholic Church in Sussex. John preceded her in death in 1989.

Norma was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in St. Michaels.

Those Norma leaves behind to cherish her memory include her sister, Ruth Schilhansl of West Bend; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Youngbauer and Jeanne (Richard) Schmidt both of Sussex and Alice Bauer of West Bend, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Norma was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence (Alice) Filler; two sisters, Eleanor Filler and Mildred (Alex) Steldt and three brothers-in-law, Arvin Bauer, Harry (Marjorie) Youngbauer and Charles Youngbauer.

Funeral services for Norma were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath officiated and burial followed in Boltonville Union Cemetery in the town of Farmington.

The family greeted relatives and friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.

Norma's family extended their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Mosley and the staff at the Fields of Washington County.
