Oscar Beyer, age 78, of the town of Scott, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2006 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center in Sheboygan.
He was born on March 12, 1927 in the town of Scott, the son of the late Charles and Marie (Heberer) Beyer, and he served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict attaining the rank of Corporal at his time of discharge in 1953. He worked as a farmhand for many area farmers.
Oscar was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott.
Survivors include a brother, Fred C. (Betty) Beyer of Adell; three sisters, Evelyn Beyer of Wauwatosa, Viola (Roland) Kelly of Snohomish, Washington and Eleanor (Leonard) Heimermann of Hartford, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, W8497 Brazelton Drive, Random Lake (Town of Scott). Rev. Kurt Ziemann officiated and burial, with military graveside rites, followed in the church cemetery. Relatives and friends called at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
