Patricia J. Holschbach, nee Myotte, 75, of West Bend, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at Froedtert Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
She was born on May 23, 1929 in Escanaba, Michigan, the daughter of the late Joseph and Bernice (nee O'Donnell) Myotte. Patricia graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, Wisconsin in 1947. On December 2, 1950, she married Harlan Stuebs, with whom she had six children.
Patricia worked in the office at Mirro Aluminum Company, at various restaurants and as the nutritional aid for the University of Wisconsin Extension, as secretary at Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland, Wisconsin, and as secretary for various condominium organizations. She was also the president of the Elks Auxiliary in Rockaway Beach, Missouri.
On August 23, 1975, she married Marvin V. Holschbach in Manitowoc. After retirement, Patricia and Marvin moved to Missouri where they enjoyed many happy years. Marvin preceded her in death on January 24, 2000.
In 2000, Patricia moved back to West Bend and became an active member of St. Frances Cabrini Church. She was very involved with her grandchildren and their various sports, especially the showing of horses. She traveled extensively with her beloved husband, Marvin, and always enjoyed visiting with relatives and friends.
She will be sadly missed by her children, stepchildren, grandchildren, relatives and friends. She is survived by six children, Michael T. Stuebs of Yuma, AZ, Pamela (Brian) Murphy of Spokane, WA, T.J. Stuebs of Yuma, AZ, Lisa Engeleiter of West Bend, WI, Michelle (Joseph) Shirkey of West Bend, WI, Steven (Vicki) Stuebs of Cascade, WI; six stepchildren, Robin (Keith) Jansky of Manitowoc, WI, Michael (Judy) Holschbach of Madison, WI, Deborah (Brent) Johnson of Sheridan, AR, James Holschbach of Manitowoc, WI, Karl (Debra) Holschbach of Cambria, WI, Beth Ann (fiancAC. John Suchon) Holschbach of Whitelaw, WI; 22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces, nephews; a very special aunt, Pearl Alsten of San Diego, who celebrated her 100th birthday in January; in-laws, Bernice Barta, Donald (Delores) Holschbach, Vernon (Dorothy) Holschbach, Grace (Frank) Brandl, Eunice Mella, all of Manitowoc, WI, Harvey Holschbach of Two Rivers, WI, and Paul Holschbach of DePere, WI.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 1025 S. 7th Ave., West Bend, WI with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow in the lower level of the church. Memorials are appreciated.
Patricia will be greatly missed and will forever live on in the heart of her loved ones.
