Patricia A. Mandick (nee McLaughlin) age 69, of Hartford, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009 unexpectedly in San Jose, CA.
She was born in Sheboygan on November 13, 1939 to the late James and Lorraine McLaughlin, Sr. (Nee Siewarth). On January 30, 1960, Pat was united in marriage to Donald Edward Mandick in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1989.
She was a loving and caring mother to her children - our "best friend" whose gentle spirit along with always taking the time to listen to us will forever be missed. Pat was the woman with a big heart and smile who was always willing to help her family and friends. Her interests were crafts and fishing, feeding her squirrels, and listening to her Irish music.
Pat is survived by two daughters, Christine (Jaci) Coats of San Jose, CA and Darlene (Herbert) May of West Bend, WI; son, Don of Allenton, WI; four grandchildren, Michael (Grisele), James (Alexandria), Rebecca, Daniel; five great-grandchildren, Sophia, Addison, Andre, Isabella Anne, and Bryce; two sisters, Dixie (Spencer) Williamson and Maureen Rainer; and her brother James (Kathy) McLaughlin, Jr., all from Milwaukee, WI.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter, Pauline Vandenberg; parents and mother-in-law Ellen Mandick.
Funeral services in remembrance of Pat will be held on Sunday, June 14 at 4:00 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend. Deacon Ron Schneider will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, on Monday at 11:00 a.m.
