Patricia "Pat" Schneider

December 2, 1930 — October 3, 2013

Patricia "Pat" A. Schneider, nee Miller, age 82, of Jackson, found eternal peace Thursday, October 3, 2013 at St Joseph's Home & Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Prairie.

She was born on December 2, 1930 in Sullivan, IN to the late Russell and Anne (nee Allen) Miller. Patricia grew up and attended high school in Texas and went on to college at Michigan State for education. While attending summer school at the University of Wisconsin - Madison she met her future husband, Wayne, and they were married on August 24, 1957. They raised their family in Mequon. After Wayne's retirement they moved to Rhinelander where she loved the outdoors and they spent a lot of time traveling the country camping. Her husband, Wayne, passed away February 21, 2006.

Patricia was a wonderful homemaker and mother. Pat enjoyed teaching Sunday School for many years. She also loved arts and crafts, sewing, bird watching, flowers and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Those Patricia leaves behind to cherish her memory include her four children, Janet (Richard) Knutson of Germantown, Jeffrey (Wendy) Schneider of Eden Prairie, MN, Nancy Schneider of Bay View and David (Michelle) Schneider of Mukwonago; six grandchildren, Lindsey Knutson, Daniel Knutson, Benjamin Schneider, Evan Schneider, Jake Schneider and Adam Schneider; and a sister-in-law, Erika Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne, and her brother, William Miller.

A memorial service in remembrance of Patricia will be held on Tuesday, October 8 at 6:00 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St, West Bend. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00pm until the time of service.

Memorials to the Washington County Meals on Wheels program or the Washington County Humane Society are appreciated.

Patricia's children would like to express a special thank you to St. Joseph's Home & Rehabilitation Center and Hospice Alliance for all their help and support.
