Patricia Ann “Legs” Taylor (nee Topik), of the town of Scott, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in Amherst, Wisconsin close to her son and extended family.
Pat was born on February 23, 1954 in Garden City, Michigan the daughter of the late Frank and Cecilia (nee Zeszotarski) Topik. She was united in marriage to Timothy “Tim” Taylor on October 13, 1978 in Walbridge, Ohio. Tim preceded Pat in death on December 7, 2013.
Pat was an Operations Coordinator for Kellogg’s where she enjoyed a long career before retiring in June of 2014. While working full time, Pat and Tim also owned and operated the Kewaskum Saloon which is now Grand Larsony. Pat also found time to help Tim run his fishing charter “Fish Tail Charters” in Sheboygan. Pat always put others above herself and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Pat enjoyed bow hunting, squirrel hunting, fishing, and camping. In her younger days she was an avid downhill and water skier. She also liked taking motorcycle rides, playing the slots at casinos, playing sheepshead, and golfing on various leagues at Hon-E-Kor.
Those Pat leaves behind to cherish her memory include her three children, Michael Taylor of San Diego, CA, Jeff (Leigh Jacobson) Taylor of Amherst, and Sara Taylor of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Connie (Mike) Barrett and Janice Moore; two brothers, Daniel (Suzette) Topik and George (Lisa McAfee) Topik; and many other close relatives and dear friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Pat was preceded in death by her son Terry Taylor and brother-in-law Mike Moore.
A memorial service for Pat will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015, at 4:00 pm, at Hon-E-Kor Country Club in Kewaskum. The Taylor family will greet relatives and friends at Hon-E-Kor from 1:00 p.m. until the service at 4:00 p.m.
The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum was entrusted with Pat's arrangements.
