Patricia “Patti” Ann Heaslip, (nee Bastian), of Kewaskum, peacefully passed away on December 17, 2023, in Fond du Lac with her daughter by her side. Patti was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
Born on December 12, 1950, in Appleton, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Marvin and Eleanor Bastian (nee Witt). In her youth, Patti attended and graduated from Hartford Union High School.
On October 13, 1971, she married the love of her life, John C. Heaslip in Richfield. They moved to a country home in the Town of Kewaskum where they raised their three children. They were married for 19 years until his untimely passing in 1990. At that time, Patti and her girls moved to a home in the Village of Kewaskum.
She took pride in her career as a factory worker with The West Bend Company and Regal Ware. Her loyalty and strong work ethic earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues during her 50-year career before retirement.
After retiring, Patti continued to embrace her passion for serving others. She found joy in working at Amerahn and the Rusty Spur Saloon, both located in Kewaskum, where she shared her sarcasm, warm smile, and infectious laugh with those she encountered.
Outside of work, Patti lived life to the fullest. She loved line dancing, country music, playing cards, and camping. Socializing with her friends brought her happiness, and she treasured every moment spent in their company. Most of all, her biggest gift was spending time with her family.
Patti's legacy will forever live on through her three loving daughters: Tammy Griesemer, Rhonda Roehl, and Shelly (Tom Hammen) Heaslip. Her grandchildren, Brooke (fiancé Charlie Lopez) Voigt, Brandi (Andrew Stone) Voigt, William (Olivia Narance) Griesemer, Kolton (Ainsley Busch) Roehl, and Kendra Roehl, will remember her forever. Patti also had the pleasure of welcoming her great-grandson, Luca Lopez, into her heart.
She leaves behind her loving sisters, Cindy (Jerome) Johnson and Shirley Horn; as well as her brothers, Donald (Felice) Bastian and Ronald Marshall. Patti had a special bond with her dear friend, Richard Fry, who brought laughter and companionship to her life.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John C. Heaslip; her stepmother, Maybell Bastian, son-in-law, Jerimiah Roehl; and her sister-in-law, Donna Bastian. Patti's memory will forever be cherished by those she leaves behind.
