Patsy Ann (Rodriguez) Sargent

Patsy Ann Sargent (nee Rodriguez), 64, of rural Random Lake area, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.  She was surrounded by loving family at the time of her departure from this world into god’s kingdom.

She was born March 13, 1957 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Pablo and Jeanette (nee Oldenburg) Rodriguez.  Upon graduating early from Riverside High School, Patsy met the future love of her life, Robert Sargent.  Then, on October 26, 1974 they were united in holy matrimony.  They raised four children together, which later blossomed into twelve grandchildren.  She worked as a counselor at a halfway home for years and later became a rural postal carrier for the West Bend area.  Patsy enjoyed gardening and spent hours on her lovely flower arrangements throughout the landscape.  One of Patsy’s greatest enjoyments was summer camping with her husband, children, and grandchildren.  Patsy was a wonderful and loving mother with an eccentric personality to all that new and loved her.  She will be forever cherished and missed.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Robert Sargent; her mother, Jeanette Rodriguez; four children, Jean (Craig) Upson, Adam (Carrie) Sargent, Paul (Tabitha) Sargent, and Michelle Sargent; 12 grandchildren, Brock Upson, Michael Upson, Emma Upson, Jack Upson, Alexis Sargent, Abigale Sargent, Nolan Sargent, Reid Sargent, Bryce Sargent, Grant Sargent, Brett Sargent, and Braxton Freiburger; three brothers, Pablo (Angie) Rodriguez, Richard (Debbie) Rodriguez, and Rudy (Carol) Rodriguez; many relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her father, Pablo Rodriguez and her infant daughter, Bridget Marie.

A memorial service in remembrance of Patsy will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
