Paul J. Clark

Paul J. Clark, 74, of West Bend, passed away on February 23, 2025, at Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.

On October 7, 1950, Paul made his grand entrance into the world in Milwaukee, born to the loving William and Irene (née Witczak) Clark. Paul took his first academic steps at Boys Tech High School in Milwaukee. Post-graduation, he donned the uniform of the U.S. Navy, serving as an aviation electrician second class from 1971 to 1977, with a notable stint stationed in Jacksonville, Florida.

On a blessed day, October 19, 1974, he pledged his life and love to Roberta Kopping at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael’s. Paul channeled his engineering prowess at Johnson Controls and later at WE Energies as a project engineer.

Paul's zest for life was reflected in his passions. He roared down the roads on his Harley, curated an impressive collection of coins and comic books, strummed his guitar with joy and loved listening to blues and 70s rock music. He delved into the realms of sci-fi and fantasy novels and movies, figurines in tow. He cherished moments at comic-cons with his daughter. He also collected beer memorabilia and even brewed his own beer, clinching a respectable third place at the Wisconsin State Fair. Paul's life was a vibrant tapestry of interests and adventures!

Those Paul leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 50 years, Roberta; his daughter, Kristin Clark; a sister, Janice Voigt; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest Kopping, Eugene (Christine) Kopping, Michele (John) Theisen, Richard Kopping, and Sherrel Kopping; cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, David Kopping and Robert Voigt; his parents-in-law, Eugene and June Kopping.

VISITATION: Paul’s family will greet relatives and friends at the Myrhum – Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend, on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

SERVICE: A service for Paul will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 7th at 3:30 p.m.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Samaritan Health Center and his friends of the “rubber knife gang” at Samaritan.
