Paul F. Koenings, age 68, of West Bend, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2006 at his home in West Bend.

He was born on May 16, 1937 in Barton to the late Christ and Elizabeth (nee Bahr) Koenings. Paul was a long time employee at the former Bermico Line Material. He later worked for Bank One and the City of West Bend. For the last couple of years he was the playground supervisor at St. Mary's School.

Paul was a life long member of St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Parish, St. Joseph Society, and Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the Barton Fire Department. Paul enjoyed hunting and especially fishing. He also enjoyed helping and being with his many nieces and nephews.

He is survived by three sisters, Janet (Al) Rohlinger of Kewaskum, Eileen (FiancAC. Bob Moser) Spaeth of West Bend, and Catherine (Negatu) Molla of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Richard (Nancy) Koenings of West Bend, and Chuck (Judy) Koenings of Menomonee Falls; nieces and nephews, Diane (Randy) Schickert, Lina (John) Skidmore, Gary Spaeth, Andy Spaeth, Michael (Rebecca) Molla, Theo Molla, Jason (Connie) Koenings, Angie (Brandon) Wickus, Nick (Mindy) Koenings, Adam Koenings, and Jenna Koenings; ten great nieces and nephews; along with his best friends, Bailey & Rainbow.

He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Bob Spaeth, Aunt Cel Koenings, along with other aunts and uncles.

Mass of Christian Burial for Paul will be held on Monday, January 16th at 7:00 pm at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Parish. Rev. Robert Bales will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be Monday at the church only from 4:00 pm until the time of Mass. Cremation will follow at Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, and burial of Paul's cremated remains will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
