Paul C. Roskopf, 85, of Lomira, formerly of Germantown, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2009, at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lomira.
He was born on February 8, 1923, in Germantown, the son of the late John and Anna (Boyung) Roskopf, and on November 8, 1947, he was united in marriage to Isabelle Hennes at St. Hubert’s Catholic Church in Hubertus.
The couple farmed in the Germantown area for many years. Paul was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown and was the caretaker of the parish cemetery for many years.
Survivors include his loving wife, Isabelle; five children, Pat (Tom) Wiedmeyer of Campbellsport, Ken (Arlene) Roskopf of Shawano, Terri (Fritz) Eimermann of Campbellsport, Paul "Buddy" (Judy) Roskopf of Richfield and Gary Roskopf of Campbellsport; two sisters, Frances “Pat” Maronowicz of Sturgeon Bay and Arlene (Ronald) Frey of Tucumcari, New Mexico; a brother, Raymond “Pete” (Diane) Roskopf of West Bend; three sisters-in-law, Lil Roskopf of West Bend, Ruth Roskopf of Germantown and Rita Roskopf of Dewey, Arizona; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Schuster and five brothers, Albert, Norman “Sam”, John “Huntz”, Donald and Arthur Roskopf.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Paul was held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, W204N11924 Goldendale Road in Germantown. Father Todd Budde officiated and burial followed in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends called at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
