Pearl D. Beaudreau (nee Rabe), age 96, of West Bend, found peace on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Kathy Hospice with her daughters by her side.
She was born on July 27, 1917 in Milwaukee to the late Fredrick and Mary (nee Henkel) Rabe and grew up on a rural farm near Whitewater. On November 5, 1938 Pearl was united in marriage to Glenn Beaudreau in Palmyra. Together they resided in Milwaukee until they moved to Cedar Ridge in 1998.
While in Milwaukee, Pearl worked for many years at St. Michael's Hospital. She had a love for sports, especially the Packers. She enjoyed photography, fishing, camping, sewing and square dancing and was known for her great cooking as well.
She is survived by her two daughters, Doreen Beaudreau of Coatesville, PA and Ellen Sushak of Beaver Dam.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn Beaudreau; a brother, Glen Rabe; and a half sister, Beatrice Huth.
Memorial service in celebration of Pearl's life will be held on Saturday. January 25 at 11:30 a.m. at Cedar Ridge Grand Hall (113 Cedar Ridge Dr.) West Bend. Visitation will be in the Grand Hall Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service, with fellowship and meal following the service. A private entombment was held at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorials to Cedar Community are appreciated.
