Pearl F. Darmody, nee Endlich, age 87, of Kohlsville, found peace Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the St. Luke Medical Center, Milwaukee.
She was born on August 4, 1926 in the town of Wayne to the late Erwin and Emma (nee Engmann) Endlich and was united in marriage to Wesley Darmody on July 3, 1946 at St. John's Church in Kohlsville.
She grew up on the family farm and shortly after her marriage she and Wesley bought it and lived there for 84 years. Pearl and Wesley enjoyed playing Hearts Sheepshead in a card club with friends for 50 years. She was a dedicated mother to her children and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Wesley; three children, Gary Darmody, Nancy (Timothy) Stoffel, and Peggy Darmody; two grandchildren, Clayton and Karla Stoffel; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Marilynn Breit; sister, Esther (Bill) Breitag; and son-in-law, Warren "Chuck" Blohm.
Funeral service in remembrance of Pearl will be held on Tuesday, August 5th at 12:00pm at St. John's Evangelical Church (Cty. Rd. WW and Beaver Dam Rd.) in Kohlsville with Rev. Terrie Beede officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, at 2:30pm on Tuesday.
