Peggy L. Volm

Peggy L. Volm, 66, of Cascade and Town of Scott, formerly from Kewaskum, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013, with her family at her side.

She was born on January 23, 1947, in Winona, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Edward and Lila (Ebersold) Larson.  Peggy was united in marriage to William “Bill” Volm on June 20, 1964 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.  Bill preceded Peggy in death on November 22, 2010.

Peggy and Bill were lifelong farmers in the town of Kewaskum.  They moved to Cecil after retiring and enjoyed many fun times with family and friends at the trailer at Hoeft’s Resort on Crooked Lake.  Peggy was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum and will be deeply missed by her family and by all who knew her.

Those Peggy leaves behind to cherish her memory include four sons, Rick (Judy) Volm of Cascade, William (Nancy) Volm III of Campbellsport, Russell (Johanna) Volm of Boltonville and Scott (Tania) Volm of Cascade; eight grandchildren, Cassandra (Nick) Bonney, Ricky, Nicholas, William IV, Courtney, Gatlin, Sebastian and Sawyer Lee Volm; three great-grandchildren, Alana and Conner Hay and Paige Bonney; two brothers, Bobby Larson of Tennessee and Calvin Ebersold of Random Lake; two sisters, Karen (John) Fechter of West Bend and Denise (Dan) Reilly of Campbellsport; four brothers-in-law, Richard Weis of West Bend, David Ritter of Kewaskum, Merlin (Carol) Volm of Kewaskum and Bobby (Joanne) Volm of Upland, California; four sisters-in-law, Sharon Larson of Kewaskum, Ruth Arbogash of West Bend, Eileen (Reginald) Pierret of Antigo and Lindy (Bernard) Kaehne of Kewaskum, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents Peggy was preceded into death by three brothers, Roger (Sandy) Ebersold, Darrell Larson, and David Larson; two sisters, Judy (Merlin) Seefeldt and Vonne Ritter; two sisters-in-law, Adeline Weis and Annie Ebersold and a brother-in-law, Norman Arbogash.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Peggy was held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath officiated and burial followed in the parish cemetery.

The Volm family greeted relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.

The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum was entrusted with Peggy’s arrangements.
