Rachel Neuman, (nee Fehere), age 95, of West Bend, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at the Samaritan Health Care Center in West Bend.
She was born on December 3, 1910 in Portland, Oregon to the late John and Lena (nee Schmer) Fehere. She was united in marriage to Walter August Neuman Sr. on November 23, 1929 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on September 28, 1975.
Rachel worked as a skiever for the Weinberg Shoe Company for many years until her retirement in 1972. Following her retirement she moved to the Wautoma Area before eventually settling at Meadowbrook Manor, in West Bend, in 1995.
Rachel is survived by her four children, June (Nick) Pica of West Allis, Walter Neuman Jr. of Redgranite, Susan (Robert) Breinling of Elkhorn, and Robert (Jill) of Horicon. She is further survived by many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as many dear friends at Meadowbrook Manor.
A service of Celebration for Rachel will be held on Friday, June 16, 2006 at 6:00 pm at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service of West Bend. Visitation with the family will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Burial of Rachel's cremated remains will be held at a later date.
